Hello,
I’m David Odili, a Creative, Brand & Graphic Designer driven by how thoughtful design can shape how people see, understand, and connect with brands through purposeful visual communication.
My work spans visual identity, graphic design, digital content and creative development. Whether building a brand identity, developing campaign assets or exploring how a brand comes to life across digital and physical touchpoints, I enjoy taking an idea from its early stages and turning it into a clear, effective creative solution.
My journey so far
My professional design journey began at Visapoint in Lagos, where I started as an intern and progressed from graphic designer & social media manager to a creative supervisory role, working across visual communication and digital marketing.
After relocating to the UK to continue my education, I took up part-time retail jobs while maintaining my design practice through independent projects. My experience with fashion brands such as Tommy Hilfiger has broadened my understanding of consumer behaviour, brand presentation, and the commercial thinking behind effective visual communication. Today, I bring these experiences together in my approach to design, combining creative thinking, visual communication, and an understanding of how brands connect with people
What I bring
Brand Identity Design | Communication & Social Media Design | Logo Design | Art Direction | Motion Graphics
Typography & Layout | Print Production | Digital Design | Illustration | UI Design | HTML & CSS Basics
I bring together creative thinking, design skills, marketing awareness, and an understanding of the commercial environments in which brands operate. With a focus on brand identity and visual communication, I'm continually exploring new ways to develop ideas and create meaningful design solutions. I'm now looking to contribute these skills, learn from other creatives, and grow within a collaborative creative team.
